There are a zillion deserving dads out there. A deserving dad is one who has been/is there for you when the rest of the world seems against you. He is one who loves you no matter what. He is one who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed him to. He is one who thinks you are special.

So, if you have a deserving dad, make him feel special. This is his day and your chance to spoil him for a change. Despite their tough exterior deserving dads have soft hearts. They love a bit of pampering and being made to feel special for a day. Here’s some ideas on how to do it:

Make breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Chances are your dad loves something cooked by you. He will love a big breakfast with the lot or maybe a roast for lunch or dinner. If you are not handy in the culinary arts, go out. Most places will help to make a dad special on his big day.

A Pamper Basket

Even dads like bit of TLC every so often.  So here’s your chance to put together a basket with his favourite after shave, chocolate, beer or wine. Provide some of the goodies he loves.

Tools

If your dad is a tool or tech head, give him something that will dazzle him. Vouchers work well, if you want to leave the choice to him. If he is a DIY sort of guy, stores such as Bunning and Mitre 10 have all sorts of vouchers.

Footy or Cricket fans

Is your dad a footy or cricket fan? Would he love a ticket to his favourite team’s next match, a pass to a day at the upcoming Ashes’ tour. Australia is the sporting nation of the world and there is a plethora of sporting events to match a dad’s desire for a sporting spectacular
